Aberdeen’s 3-0 loss at Ibrox took their dismal league run to 12 games without a victory.
And it all seems a far cry from the team that Jimmy Thelin had fighting with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table back in October.
Aberdeen were 1-0 down and still chasing an equaliser going into second half stoppage time against Rangers on Wednesday night, but by the time referee Kevin Clancy blew his full-time whistle the scoreboard read 3-0 in the hosts' favour after late goals from substitutes Leon Balogun and Cyriel Dessers.
Rangers hero Kris Boyd watched on and couldn't help but think it must be time for serious questions to be asked about Aberdeen manager Thelin's position, should they continue to produce similar results.
He then went on to draw parallels with Thelin's predecessor Barry Robson and how his Pittodrie downfall ended.
Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack has made it clear that it's a project and patience should be shown from supporters, and with the Dons still sitting fourth, their ambitions of qualifying for Europe remains alive.
"This run is now getting to the stage now where you are going to ask some serious questions. You look at Barry Robson," Boyd told Sky Sports.
"He won four out of 14 and lost his job. This is no wins in 12 now for Jimmy Thelin and because you started the season really well.

Aberdeen have 'strong belief' despite poor form, new signings crucial
"There might be an acceptance for the Aberdeen fans to sit and clap their team off but that was embarrassing. You come down here, it is a big game and you want to fly into tackles. Aberdeen were so passive. I am not just saying that tonight. It was the exact same on Sunday against Hearts. There is a lack of intensity about this Aberdeen team.
"That was one thing at the start of the season. Teams struggled to deal with them because of intensity. They were winning second balls and didn't allow teams settle. I don't know what is going on but there is something not right at Aberdeen right now. They look so passive and you can say about confidence, I get it, but confidence doesn't stop you running about."
The Red Army still seems united behind Thelin despite having to go back 68 days for their last victory.
Andrew Considine played almost 500 games for Aberdeen over an 18 year period, and believes their new Swedish boss will get things right in the long run as he oversees a major squad overhaul.
Four new players have been brought into the Aberdeen squad during the January transfer window, with at least two more arrivals expected.
Joining Boyd on punditry duty, the former Scotland defender commented: "I think everybody is fully 100 per cent behind him. The players are and clearly the chairman.
"Alan Burrows and Steven Gunn are working extremely hard behind the scenes, backing him and spending some serious money which they haven't done over the past number of years to try and bolster the squad. It will take time for these guys to bed in.
"But the longer this run goes on, you know, I don't think there is any issue really. I do think we've got a really quality squad and some good individual players. They are just not having the impact they did a month and a half or two months ago."
