Rangers hero Ally McCoist 'spiced things up' verdict over Ange as he predicts Celtic transfer exits

Ally McCoist reckons Ange Postecoglou's exit has 'spiced things up' for Rangers.

Tottenham have swooped to land the former Celtic boss on a four-year deal as he takes his first plunge into the riches of the English Premier League. Following the Scottish Cup win over Inverness at the weekend, the move went into overdrive with everything signed off and confirmed on Tuesday.

It was the perfect end to his time in Scotland as that Hampden triumph secured a domestic Treble and with that five trophies out of the last six. Michael Beale and Rangers are already building for the new season as they bid to end Celtic's dominance. Three summer recruits are already in the door in the shape of Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland while the clear out is underway with five departing including Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.

A change at the top of the Hoops from a Rangers point of view is 'excellent' reckons the talkSPORT pundit who believes a number of key men like Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate could follow the 57-year-old out of Parkhead this summer.

McCoist said: "Time will tell. I mean he has had a fantastic two seasons, of that there is no doubt.

"The interesting thing now is a couple of the Celtic boys I know are thinking he will come and swoop for one or two of his former players, whether it is Kyogo or Hatate - and certainly Carter-Vickers has had an excellent season.

"That remains to be seen, will Celtic keep their squad. Who is going to come in and if they will want to change the squad and make changes. Certainly it has spiced things up, which from a Rangers point of view is excellent."
