Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil believe Brendan Rodgers could lose his job at Leicester City if they fail to beat Nottingham Forest.
The Rangers hero reckons the former Celtic boss will be 'bang in trouble' if he loses out against the newly promoted English Premier League side. The Foxes are yet to win this season, with just one point on the board after seven games as pressure continues to mount on the former Parkhead and Liverpool gaffer.
Forest are just one spot above them in the table ahead of the huge showdown and with a big summer spend and investment at the City Ground, the former Light Blues boss reckons Steve Cooper could also face the axe should his side suffer defeat. McCoist reckons Rodgers will pick up a huge win following the international break but has stressed the loser of the massive clash between the struggling pair could 'absolutely lose their job' as the Rangers hero and Celtic-daft Brazil discussed the current situation while on the talkSPORT breakfast show.

McCoist: "The one thing about Brendan when you listen to him beforehand. He was upbeat, optimistic, positive. He gave you a good interview.
"You can just tell by his tone - I think - and it has been there for the last two or three weeks now, he seems to have lost a little bit of enthusiasm. You can feel that, you can sense it.
Brazil: "I couldn't agree more.
"Are we saying then if they don't beat Forest it could be bye, bye?",
McCoist: "I think he is bang in trouble if he doesn't beat Forest. But I think he will beat Forest and I think it will be Steve Cooper who will be in trouble.
"We are only eight games into the season Al, but what a game this has become now. Leicester vs Forest.
"I mean I can't believe we are talking about it this early in the season. But the facts don't lie. The loser of that particular game could absolutely lose their job."
