Former Rangers manager Alex McLeish has urged his former side to think carefully about the potential signing of Croatian international striker Antonio Colak.
His move to Govan has sparked conversation amongst the Light Blues fanbase after reports emerged over a reported £2 million switch to the Premiership title challengers and last season's Europa League finalists. He is well known to the club after his brace helped Malmo dump Steven Gerrard's side out of Champions League qualifying last summer, also scoring for Rijeka against Aberdeen in 2019's Europa League.
Since then though, goals haven't been in as constant supply after returning to Greece with parent club PAOK. Term 2021/22 brought just three goals outside of qualifying stages for Europe's elite competition but he has shown his prolific side before, scoring 51 times in 90 games at Rijeka, while he scored 19 times over 40 games at Malmo.

McLeish has noticed the lack of goals that have come for Colak amid links suggesting star forward Alfredo Morelos could head to Sevilla.
It's manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst's first summer window in charge and the former boss reckons full control over personnel is needed.
But whether the Croatian is Rangers quality is another debate.
He told Football Insider: "I spoke all last season about when Giovanni comes in, he has to be able to pick his own players. I baulked a wee bit at seeing this guy isn’t a prolific goalscorer, that is a wee bit scary
“Maybe he sees him in a different kind of role, like a goal-maker, there is possibly something else in that.
“He’s 28? He’s not a regular goalscorer. At some stage, the board has to appreciate Gio’s choices and we will see if this guy makes an impact.
