Connor Goldson and Kemar Roofe have given Rangers fans a ray of hope as they strolled in for the first day of pre-season.
Both players ended last season on the injury list with Goldson feared to be ruled out until the end of July. The last time the key man was spotted he was in a moon boot and crutches. Roofe on the other hand has been through injury hell during his time at Ibrox. The crocked star looked to have burst back onto the scene with a crucial ViaPlay goal in the semis against Aberdeen before injuring his shoulder.
Michael Beale was left fearing that Goldson could miss a chunk of his preparations when the defender was given a 10 week lay off starting from May 21. But both Goldson and Roofe gave fans from new hope that their injury pain might be over after they both walked into Auchenhowie as Rangers returned for pre-season.

The club shared a video of the players arriving on their social media channels. Antonio Colak was spotted in good spirits with Ianis Hagi also captured entering the training HQ. New signing Jack Butland delivered a 'let's get to work' message as the goalkeeper walked through the main entrance.
Roofe and Colak could already have a battle on their hands for the no9 shirt with Rangers set to bring in Cyriel Dessers after a 'final fee' was agreed with Serie A club Cremonese.
The Nigerian international is set to be Michael Beale's sixth summer signing as Rangers continue their squad overhaul ahead of the league action returning in August and crucial Champions League qualifiers.
