Rangers and Fenerbahce players will wear black armbands in their Europa League contest as a mark of respect after a supporter died in Istanbul.
A Rangers fan passed away overnight after a traffic accident in the Turkish city ahead of the first leg of the round of 16 tie.
An Ibrox statement confirmed: “We are devastated to have learned of the passing of one of our supporters in a road traffic accident overnight in Istanbul.
“The immediate thoughts of everyone at the club are with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“We are remaining in constant contact with both the Turkish and British authorities over this tragic incident.”

It's understood players of both clubs will wear black armbands as a mark of respect to the supporter who tragically lost his life.
Rangers supporters placed their own tributes to the fan near the site of the accident in Istanbul with Rangers scarves and a shirt tied to railings at the side of the road.
A Fenerbahce statement read: "We extend our deepest condolences to Rangers FC and the entire Rangers community We are deeply saddened to receive the heartbreaking news that a Rangers FC supporter, who traveled to Istanbul to support his team in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 against our club Fenerbahçe, has tragically lost his life in a traffic accident.
"Our heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to his family, Rangers FC, and their community. Fenerbahçe Sports Club."
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: “We are aware of the death of a British man in Turkey and are in touch with the local authorities.”
