Rangers fans have gathered outside of Ibrox to pay tribute to the Queen following her sad passing.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully at Balmoral on Thursday with tributes pouring in from across the country to the monarch who has served for over 70 years. Rangers lowered the flag at Ibrox to half mast as they paid their respects, with clubs across the SPFL uniting in offering their condolences to the The Royal Family. Since then, floral tributes have been placed across the city with the home ground of The Light Blues being used to pay respects.
Floral tributes were placed outside of the stadium, as well as images of the Queen and messages from emotional supporters. One message that was placed alongside a red, white and blue wreath read: "Rest easy our Queen, your duty is done." Rangers' Scottish Premiership visit to Aberdeen has been postponed, while their Champions League clash with Napoli is in doubt during the national period of mourning.
As well as the tributes from Rangers fans to the monarch gatherings took place elsewhere in Glasgow. Books of condolence were set out at the City Chambers at George Square.
The much loved monarch visited on several occasions, with floral tributes also appearing throughout the day. The Union Flag was at half mast at Glasgow City Chambers.
