Rangers fans have already created a song for Manchester United loan signing Amad Diallo

Manchester United starlet Amad has only been in Scotland for 48 hours but has already had a song written for him by Rangers supporters.

A year on from his Old Trafford arrival - for a fee that could rise to £37million from Atalanta - the Ivory Coast winger agreed to spend the rest of this season on loan with the Scottish champions.

That's after putting pen to paper on a temporary deal at Ibrox on Thursday afternoon.

Having got that January transfer over the line before the registration cut-off, Rangers were able to call upon Amad teenager for his debut against Ross County this Saturday lunchtime (12.30pm).

And it was, initially, a blistering start for the United prospect north of the border.

Handed an early start by manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst at the Global Energy Stadium, the 19-year-old needed only four minutes to introduce himself to the Rangers faithful with a goal on his debut.

That came after he teamed-up with Joe Aribo - turning into the net from close-range for the opener.

No sooner than the net had settled from that debut tap-in, Amad was being serenaded by the Rangers fans to the tune of ABBA hit Voulez-Vous - released 23 years before the Ivorian was even born in 2002.

However, the away team went on to concede two goals before half-time.

Was this the right move for Amad? Have your say in the comments section below.

The words to the Amad song are as follows; "Diallo, aha. Running down the wing, aha.

"Hear the Rangers sing, aha. We're gonna win the league, aha."

Rangers headed into kick-off four points clear in the Scottish Premiership title race and follow up their trip to Ross County with an Old Firm derby showdown at Celtic Park on Wednesday night (7.45pm).
