Rangers have been advised not to travel by rail to next month's Champions League clash at Anfield against Liverpool.
Ibrox fans are ticking down the days until their double-header with the 2022 finalists in Group A, but rail strikes are set to impact how easy it is to get back from the match. Rail strikes are planned for the day after the fixture on Oct 4th, with thousands of Rangers supporters expected to make the journey to England.
To avoid any disruptions, anyone planning on heading to Merseyside have been told to try and avoid travelling by train. A stadium visit to Anfield will be conducted by the Light Blues next week.
Rangers' Supporter Liaison said: "Supporters traveling to Liverpool: Please note, due to potential industrial action on Oct 5th 2022, supporters are advised not to travel by rail for this fixture. Further travel information will be available following our stadium visit next week."
