Rangers Europa League Final tickets skyrocket as soaring resale prices hit £10,000

Tickets for Rangers' Europa League Final showdown are now being flogged for as much as £10,000.

Fans have faced a frenzied scramble to book up for the Seville showdown against Eintracht Frankfurt on May 18 after the Ibrox side overcame RB Leipzig last week.

The club were allocated 9,500 tickets - down from an initial 10,000 - from a total of 33,000 handed to supporters at the 43,000-capacity Roman Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

But with that allocation already sold out, the cost of attending one of the biggest fixtures in the club's history continues to climb.

Flight costs and hotel rates have surged since last Thursday and tickets have gone on resale for exorbitant prices.

Incredibly, a set of four are being sold for £10k each on online marketplace Live Football Tickets.

The listing is one of 99 (as of Monday afternoon) currently available on the site.

Rangers distributed their ticket allocation last week, with fans given priority based on loyalty points accrued via the club's MyGers scheme.

But demand was always bound to vastly exceed availability, especially considering the 43,000 capacity -less than Ibrox - at the Andalusian venue.
