Oli McBurnie has never shied away from his Rangers allegiances - and he has even previously been linked with a transfer to Ibrox.
The former Scotland international striker is currently at La Liga side Las Palmas after sealing a summer switch from Sheffield United.
He was joined by ex-Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna at the Canary Island outfit, and has went on to make 16 appearances.
However, goals have been few and far between with the 28-year-old finding the net just twice in that time.
He has been left sitting on the substitutes bench on multiple occasions this past month and it’s now being reported that Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is considering making an attempt to bring him back to English football when the January transfer window opens.
McBurnie spent five seasons at Bramall Lane, scoring 29 times from 159 outings.
Burnley and Blackburn Rovers were all credited with an interest in the striker last week too.
