Rangers defender Leon Balogun has described claims about him potentially retiring from international football as 'fake news'.
The centre-back last played in a late 2-1 defeat for Philippe Clement's side away at Manchester United in January.
He has been out injured ever since and hasn't played for his country, Nigeria, since 2022.
Balogun has over 46 caps to his name, although given his recent lack of minutes for Eric Chelle's side, questions have been raised over his future on the international front.

In a recent interview with Flashscore, however, Balogun revealed he has no plans to retire from Nigeria duty, labelling suggestions he already has as incorrect: "False claims," he said.
"I think I clarified recently.
"Sorry to be a bit harsh there, maybe, but it's out there.
"Those claims are, how do we like to say nowadays? Fake news."
Balogun remains fully committed to his country and ready to heed the call should it come once more.
His Rangers' future, however, is somewhat up in the air. The 36-year-old's current Ibrox deal is due to expire at the season's end.
He has made 19 appearances for the club this season, scoring one goal and assisting another.
Across two spells in Govan, the veteran defender has racked up over a century of games, although it remains to be seen whether he'll still be playing in blue in 2025/26.
