Rangers have confirmed the funeral arrangements for legendary kitman Jimmy Bell.
The 69-year-old sadly passed away earlier this month with tributes pouring in from players, fans and the wider football community.
Bell worked for the club for over 30 years and was a popular figure with the Rangers squads past and present.
He initially joined the club as a bus driver before taking up his role as the kit man.
Rangers have announced online that his funeral will take place this coming Friday at Wellington Church, Glasgow.
It will be a private service that starts at 10am.
The funeral cortege will then pass Ibrox at 12pm and supporters will be invited to the ground to pay their final respects.
A short statement online read: "Rangers can today confirm funeral details for our much-loved kitman, Jimmy Bell.
"A private service will take place at Wellington Church, Glasgow at 10am on Friday.
"The funeral cortege will then pass Ibrox at 12noon, with supporters invited there to pay their final respects."
In an emotional tribute online at the time, boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst wrote: “I am devastated to learn of the sad passing of my friend and colleague, Jimmy Bell.
“I had a special relationship, I loved being around him, both as a player and subsequently as manager.
“He was a hardworking, dedicated and selfless Ranger, who epitomised everything this great club stands for.
“He will be sorely missed by everyone at Rangers.
“I send my thoughts and prayers to the Bell family at this difficult time.”
