Rangers will have to do it the hard way once again after they conceded the first goal to Motherwell in their Scottish Premiership clash at Ibrox.
The Light Blues have lost their last two home matches, and a 2-0 loss to St Mirren last weekend was enough to seal Philippe Clement’s departure as Rangers manager.
Much attention was given to ex-captain Barry Ferguson taking over as interim head coach alongside club heroes Neil McCann, Billy Dodds, and Allan McGregor, with a strong focus on achieving quick results during his short tenure.
Rangers ended up 2-0 down just 14 minutes into Ferguson’s maiden match at Kilmarnock in midweek before his team found their spark to win 4-2.
And they may need a similar performance this afternoon, with Luke Armstrong giving Motherwell a ninth minute lead to silence the Ibrox crowd.

The offside flag was initially raised by the linesman as the Motherwell striker pounced on a mistake from Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland.
But the goal was awarded following a VAR review.
Butland won't look back fondly on the incident as the experienced shot-stopper failed to hold onto Dan Casey's original effort.
Rangers now have an uphill battle to overturn the deficit.
They are currently 13 points behind Celtic in the league standings.
