Rangers change Ibrox dressing room King Charles portrait

Rangers have changed their Ibrox dressing room portrait of King Charles.

The official portrait of the King has been placed on the wall looking down on the home changing room.

The new image has been placed in its traditional position inside the stadium.

It replaces the previous photo of the King as Prince Charles before the official portrait was made available.

The Scottish Premiership side shared a photo on their social media channel from inside the home dressing room, showcasing the portrait.

The club accompanied the photo on X, saying: "The Official Portrait of His Majesty King Charles III.

"Upholding the traditions of Ibrox Stadium."

Rangers will finally make their return to Ibrox this weekend when they host Dundee in the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals.

Philippe Clement and his players must continue to win games as they look to build some momentum after a sticky start to the season.

A place in the semi-finals of the competition is up for grabs, with an away tie to Malmo in the Europa League on the cards next Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Rangers have urged fans to change their accommodation plans if they're booking up for the away Europa League tie against Olympiacos.

Clement's side will take on the Europa Conference League champions on November 7.

The Premiership giants have European matches against Malmo, Lyon and FCSB to contend with before attentions on the pitch turn to the tie with Olympiacos.

However, after consultation with police, UEFA and other relevant bodies, Rangers fans have been urged NOT to book accommodation in Piraeus for the match.
