Josh Mulligan hopes Dundee can use their derby victory last time out as a springboard to another positive result against Rangers.
The Dark Blues were on run of one point from six games until they defeated Dundee United 4-2 at Tannadice, sending them into the international break on a high.
“Everyone’s in a good place right now, obviously after the last result, so it’s just about bringing in that good sort of energy into this game and hopefully getting a good result,” said attacker Mulligan.
“The derby was big, obviously, because we had a lot of poor results before that. It was not just the three points, it’s a derby as well, so to get the win was really important and I think we need to kick on from that now.
“Momentum is massive, especially at this stage of the season, so we need to make sure we keep that going.”

Mulligan is out of contract this summer but the 22-year-old academy graduate insisted his main concern is ensuring Dundee, who are second bottom of the table, banish their relegation concerns.
“That (contract situation) is sort of put to the back of my mind just now,” he said. “I’m just focusing on the next game and giving everything I’ve got to keep Dundee in this league.”
