Rangers appoint new Ibrox board director

Ibrox George Taylor

RANGERS have confirmed the appointment of George Taylor to the Ibrox board.

Taylor has been a key figure behind the scenes for several years and is a significant investor at Ibrox.

He has now been given a spot at the top table and taken a seat on the board that is headed by chairman Douglas Park.

A statement read: "The Board of Rangers International Football Club PLC is delighted to welcome the appointment of George Taylor as a Director of the Company."
