Rangers will face Bayer Leverkusen during the Premiership winter shutdown.
The Bundesliga outfit will make the trip to Glasgow to face the Light Blues on December 10, with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men returning to domestic action the following week in a huge second half of the season. Xabi Alonso's troops are no strangers to the Ibrox outfit with the duo previously playing each other in the 2019/20 Europa League knockout stages.
The German top flight side will provide a strong test for Rangers with the game set to kick off at 1pm. Tickets will be available for just £10 for adults and £7 for concessions. RangersTV will also beam the fixture via live stream globally. A familiar face will also make a return to the city with former Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong in the Leverkusen ranks. A short club statement read: "Rangers can today announce a friendly with Bundesliga opposition Bayer 04 Leverkusen on December 10, 2022 at Ibrox Stadium.
