Rangers will head into a do-or-die clash tonight with PSV as they bid to land their first taste of the Champions League group stage action in 11 years.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will lead his side into the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, knowing that a victory will see the famous UEFA anthem return to Ibrox, along with the huge cash riches that comes along with dining at Europe's top table. Last week's 2-2 draw has set up a mouth-watering winner takes all clash with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men.

Willem II 0-4 Rangers, Europa League Third Qualifying Round, 2020/21
Steven Gerrard recorded an emphatic victory over Eredivisie cracks Willem II as they swept aside the team that finished fifth just behind PSV.
The Gers headed to Tilburg for a one-off tie in the Europa League Third Qualifying Round to set up a play off clash with Turkish giants Galatasaray S.K.
A James Tavernier penalty followed by goals from Ryan Kent, Filip Helander and Connor Goldson saw Gerrard’s side run out 4-0 winners in the Koning Willem II stadion.
They reached the knockout stages as part of an historic season as they sealed the Premiership title and remained unbeaten in the league as they ended Celtic's hopes of ten-in-a-row.
A repeat of this result would surely go down as one of the club’s most famous wins on the continent.
Feyenoord 2-2 Rangers, Europa League Group Stage, 2019/20
A Morelos master class saw Rangers hold on for an impressive draw against Dutch giants Feyenoord.
The Colombian netted twice as the Light Blues took advantage inside the Stadion Feijenoord 'De Kuip' in Rotterdam against former manager Dick Advocaat’s side.
The Gers stood up to the noise and the passion of the iconic ‘De Kuip’ as their shock draw saw them go top of Group G on route to the last 32.
Gerrard's side – featuring much of the current squad – showed up to the challenge as they saw out the game to earn a point.
Van Bronckhorst will hope his players can rise to the occasion on Wednesday night. Although they’ll need to better a draw this time round if they want to avoid extra-time and potentially penalties.
PSV Eindhoven 0-0 Rangers, Europa League Round of 16, 1st Leg, 2010/11
A battling performance from Walter Smith’s troops led to a goalless draw in the first leg of the Round of 16 in the Europa League.
The second leg would ultimately bring an end to another impressive Euro run in the last season where Rangers reached the Champions League group stage.
A 1-0 victory for the Eredivisie leaders at Ibrox in the return leg meant Rangers crashed out the following week.
But in Eindhoven a stubborn Rangers didn't concede to Fred Rutten’s side with a back three of David Weir, Majid Bougherra and Kyle Bartley snuffing out their opponents.
If Rangers are to keep their dream alive this season, another clean sheet would go a long way.
