Rangers and Celtic players celebrate Ibrox star Scott Wright's wedding in lavish ceremony

Rangers star Scott Wright has tied the knot to his fiancee Suzannah in a stunning ceremony over the weekend.

The Ibrox forward married Suzannah at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews on Saturday (June 10) after the loved up pair were engaged back in November 2021.

Sharing the happy news on Instagram, the 25-year-old captioned the photos with a simple '10.06.2023' and white love heart.

Friends and fans were quick to offer their congratulations to the happy couple, with thousands of likes amassing on the post as well.

A number of fellow Gers stars as well as Celtic players were present at the day, including Hoops ace Greg Taylor and his fiancee Laura, who shared some snaps of the big day.

Meanwhile on the field, Wright could be on the move this summer as Michael Beale continues his Ibrox overhaul.

The attacker featured in 34 matches in all competitions last season but failed to find the back of the net with most of his minutes coming as late cameo appearances from the bench. Rangers have started the recruitment process for the new campaign with Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland already penning pre-contract agreements.

Five players including Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Scott Arfield have all left with contracts not renewed with fringe men also set to be moved on. Wright could fall into that bracket alongside team-mate Jon McLaughlin in a search for first-team football.

It's a big summer for the Light Blues who are keen on Serie A attacking duo Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers with Los Angeles FC midfielder Jose Cifuentes also a target.

Beale will be aiming to get the bulk of his business done early ahead of the pre-season return to give his side the best chance of settling down and making a fast start to the campaign as they bid to end Celtic's domestic dominance and make a bid to qualify for the Champions League once again with two rounds of qualifying to negotiate.
