A driver rammed their Range Rover into a police car after being chased from the motorway.
Just after 1.50pm on Thursday, May 25, officers from Merseyside Police spotted a black Range Rover, suspected to be carrying Class A drugs on the M62 in Newton. Officers tried to stop the car, which led to a pursuit in St Helens.
Officers managed to stop the Range Rover on St Helens Linkway after the vehicle rammed into a police car. No injuries have been reported to police at present.

A 40-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle dangerously, failing to stop a vehicle when required and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He was taken to a police station in Merseyside for questioning.
Part of St Helens Linkway was closed while police were at the scene which has since been reopened.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Thank you for your patience while we dealt with this incident."
