Randal Kolo Muani: Chelsea Enter Race For PSG Forward

Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani could be heading to Chelsea this January as the Blues step up their interest.

French international Muani, 26, has been struggling for game time with his Parisian club and is believed to be hopeful of an exit.

It has previously been reported that both Arsenal and Manchester United were keen on Muani, but it seems Chelsea are now leading the race.

With two goals and one assist for PSG this season, the forward has struggled so far. Deemed surplus to requirements by manager Luis Enrique, he could make a shrewd signing in the upcoming window.

And according to a report by French outlet Footmercato, it’s Chelsea who are most interested.

Chelsea Eyeing Up Randal Kolo Muani For January Swoop

Numerous top European clubs have shown interest in the 27-cap French star.

The likes of AS Monaco, RB Leipzig and Juventus have all been linked, as well as the already mentioned Arsenal and Man United.

It is believed that PSG would prefer a loan with the option to buy, should they allow Muani to leave in January.

Although he has struggled domestically, Muani is the top scorer for France in 2024, with six goals.

Chelsea are said to be keen on the forward’s versatility, as he can play across a front three.

The West London club are currently fourth in the Premier League table, ten points below league leaders Liverpool.

While talk of a title challenge has faded after their recent derby defeat to rivals Fulham, Enzo Maresca’s side have been impressive nonetheless.

No concrete discussions have yet taken place between Chelsea and PSG over Muani, but it is thought contact could be made in the coming days.

Chelsea could be an ideal fit for the Frenchman, who would join compatriots Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana, Malo Gusto and Benoit Badiashile at Stamford Bridge.

With no shortage of French stars to help him settle in, could we soon see Randal Kolo Muani in the Premier League with Chelsea?
