With the quick turnaround from Monday’s win over the Vikings, the Rams didn’t practice on Wednesday, giving their players an extra day to rest and recover. They took the field for the first time on Thursday and only two players missed practice.
The Eagles practiced for the second straight day and after several veterans rested Wednesday, only one player was a non-participant Thursday. Both teams are fairly healthy at this point in the season, which should make this weekend’s matchup an exciting one in Philadelphia.
Below are the latest injury reports for both teams after Thursday’s practices.
Rams injury report
Eagles injury report
Tyler Higbee injury update
Higbee was limited on Thursday after suffering a chest injury in the win over Minnesota. Sean McVay said he’s on track to play and Higbee himself fully expects to be on the field.
Ahkello Witherspoon injury update
Witherspoon missed practice with a thigh injury that he sustained on Monday but like Higbee, McVay said he’s expected to play against the Eagles. The Rams are going to need him against A.J. Brown.
Alaric Jackson injury update
Jackson popped up with a chest injury Wednesday, which made him an estimated non-participant, but he’s in good shape after returning as a full participant Thursday.
Bobby Brown III injury update
Brown injured his shoulder in the win against the Vikings and it’s caused him to be listed as DNP both days to start the week. McVay told reporters that he’s expected to play on Sunday, which is big news for the Rams with Saquon Barkley in the Eagles’ backfield.
Sean McVay said Tyler Higbee’s injury was “a little chest contusion.”
McVay said Higbee, OL Alaric Jackson (chest), CB Ahkello Witherspoon (thigh) and NT Bobby Brown III (shoulder) and are all expected to play Sunday vs. Eagles
