Rams sign DE Earnest Brown IV back to the practice squad after waiving him

Earnest Brown IV Rams

One day after waiving him from the active roster, the Los Angeles Rams brought back Earnest Brown IV. They signed him to the practice squad on Tuesday, retaining the 2021 fifth-round pick.

Brown has been a healthy scratch for most of the season, playing just seven games and 56 defensive snaps, but he’s someone the Rams clearly want to continue developing on the practice squad and keeping around as depth along the defensive line.

He was selected 174th overall in 2021 but has played just 12 games in the last three years, making three starts (all in 2022).
