The Los Angeles Rams were fortunate that none of the players they waived on Tuesday were claimed by another team. That gave them the opportunity to sign any of those players to the practice squad, keeping them in Los Angeles.
Unsurprisingly, the Rams’ 17-man practice squad consists entirely of players cut by Los Angeles, bringing back many of the guys they released.
The Rams are able to carry 17 players because Max Pircher is part of the International Pathway Program, so he gets an exemption and does not count toward the limit.
