Rams rookie WR Puka Nacua was overwhelmed with emotion during first MNF national anthem

Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua has turned out to be one of the true gems of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Taken in the fifth round out of BYU, the wideout has already broken records for catches in two games for a rookie and has played a major role in a resurgent Rams offense.

Ahead of his team’s Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Nacua became visibly emotional during the national anthem.

It’s been a whirlwind of a past couple of weeks for Nacua as he’s already taken a major role for his new team, so it’s very understandable that he’s got a lot of great things to process in such a big moment like this.

Nacua has a bright future ahead of him in the NFL, and he’s in a great spot to continue his rookie year and beyond in Los Angeles.

We bet this will be the first of many Monday Night Football games for Nacua, and we’re very excited to see what he does for the rest of the season.
