The Los Angeles Rams are adding some depth in the trenches for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The team announced offensive tackle A.J. Arcuri and outside linebacker Keir Thomas have been promoted from the practice squad for the divisional round, a temporary elevation for both players.
They’ll revert to the practice squad on Monday if the Rams win and advance to the next round.
Arcuri will provide depth at offensive tackle, likely getting the nod on the game-day roster over veteran Joe Noteboom, who was a healthy scratch last week. He won’t play unless there’s an injury (or two), but he can play left or right tackle.

Thomas adds some insurance at outside linebacker behind Byron Young, Jared Verse and Michael Hoecht, who are all healthy. Like Arcuri, Thomas is unlikely to play unless there’s an injury.
