The Los Angeles Rams are back home in Week 13, but the narrative hasn’t changed: They’re still underdogs.
After getting crushed by the Chiefs on the road, 26-10, the Rams will face the Seattle Seahawks at home, once again as underdogs. But at least they’re not getting 16 points again.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Rams are 4.5-point home underdogs to the Seahawks in Week 13. The over/under is set at 42 points, the same total as Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.
This will only be the third time ever the Rams are underdogs to the Seahawks in the regular season under Sean McVay, and the fourth time including the postseason. Matthew Stafford hasn’t been ruled out yet, but with the Rams sitting at 3-8, they won’t rush him back from a neck injury and concussion-like symptoms.
Amazingly, the Rams have only been home underdogs four times under McVay since 2017, so this will mark the fifth. The most points they’ve gotten in that span as underdogs at home was in Week 17 in 2017 against the 49ers when the Rams were resting their starters. Otherwise, they haven’t been underdogs of more than 3.5 points since 2017.
