The Los Angeles Rams had a few injury concerns coming out of their Week 5 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the biggest of which was Bobby Brown III. He left the game twice, the second time on a cart due to a knee injury.
Rob Havenstein and Coleman Shelton also exited early, though Shelton was able to return after a brief absence. He was taken to the locker room holding his hand.

NT Bobby Brown III
Brown suffered a Grade 3 MCL sprain and will miss 5-7 weeks. McVay made that sound like better-than-expected news considering he’ll have a chance to return later this season.
Given that timetable, he’s a clear candidate for injured reserve, which would keep him out for at least four games.
“Fortunate news on Bobby Brown, McVay said. “He just got his MCL, it was a grade three sprain. He should be out five to seven weeks, so he’ll probably be a candidate for short-term IR. Initially, we were thinking that might’ve been potentially the year, so grateful for that. Not ideal in general, but he was able to come out with what I thought was going to be a worse injury just based on our initial observation so that was a positive thing.”
RT Rob Havenstein
Havenstein was pulled late in the game by the NFL’s spotter for a potential head injury but after a medical check, the right tackle is expected to be fine moving forward.
“Rob is good. No limitations anything like that. Thank goodness he came out OK,” McVay said. “It was a medical check because of the hit. He ended up colliding on one of the rushes that they had toward the latter part of the game, so he was medical check.”
C Coleman Shelton
Shelton suffered a finger injury during Sunday’s game and was briefly replaced by Brian Allen. McVay said he “should be OK” for Week 6 against the Cardinals, a Sunday afternoon game at SoFi Stadium this weekend.
“Coleman Shelton just got his finger in the game, but he should be OK,” McVay said. “He came back in the game and obviously was able to finish.”
