Week 7 was not kind to the Los Angeles Rams from an injury perspective. Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers both suffered injuries that will sideline them for multiple games, leaving the backfield significantly thinner than it was just a week ago.
The Rams opened their week of practice on Wednesday as they prepare for the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend, and there are a few players dealing with injuries heading into the upcoming game. In addition to Williams, Ernest Jones and Larrell Murchison were both held out of practice. It’s unclear how long Williams will be out beyond this week and the team is still deciding whether to put him on injured reserve.
Rivers, unfortunately, has been placed on IR and will miss at least four games, so that’s the reason he doesn’t appear on the report.
Derion Kendrick also isn’t practicing right now after being arrested early Monday morning. His situation is fluid as it’s an active legal investigation, Sean McVay says.
Joe Noteboom remains limited due to his groin injury, while Ben Skowronek’s shoulder is still bothering him. Kobie Turner got his shoulder banged up in Sunday’s game and was limited, too.
