You never want to see a star player on the injury report, but for the Los Angeles Rams, seeing Cooper Kupp’s name listed to start Week 5 was actually a good sign. Kupp was officially designated to return from IR this week and he was a limited participant in his first practice Wednesday.
While he was technically listed as limited, Sean McVay said he was going to go through a normal day of practice, suggesting he wouldn’t be limited at all.
Buy Rams TicketsAlaric Jackson and Joe Noteboom were unfortunately listed as non-participants as they recover from their injuries. Kyren Williams was also held out of practice, though Sean McVay said he expects him to play Sunday against the Eagles.
Desjuan Johnson and Christian Rozeboom were non-participants, so their statuses will be worth monitoring as the week progresses.
As for other limited participants, Ochaun Mathis and Ben Skowronek didn’t go through a full practice; Mathis is returning from IR and Skowronek got a little banged up in Week 4 against the Colts.
The good news is that Matthew Stafford was a full participant as he recovers from his hip injury. He should be fine for Sunday’s game.
