Matthew Stafford just turned in yet another strong season with the Los Angeles Rams, throwing for 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns and only eight interceptions – his fewest interceptions in a season where he played at least 10 games.
They aren’t particularly eye-popping numbers but his impact on the Rams was profound. He was the unquestioned MVP of the team, overcoming injuries at wide receiver and along the offensive line. In the 16 games he started, he went 10-6 and led the Rams to a playoff win over the Minnesota Vikings.
There was a lot for Stafford to be proud of in 2024, even if he and the Rams didn’t finish the season as the last team standing. At the age of 36, he showed he’s still one of the best quarterbacks in the league, playing at a high level once again.
The NFL put together a 42-minute highlight reel of Stafford’s best plays from 2024. There were no-look passes, deep dimes to Demarcus Robinson and some spectacular throws to Puka Nacua, all showcasing Stafford’s impressive skill set.
