The Los Angeles Rams were without Braden Fiske for most of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles after the rookie suffered a knee injury in the first quarter. The injury occurred on a sack by Fiske, which sidelined him for the remainder of the afternoon.
Sean McVay spoke with reporters on Thursday and provided an update on Fiske’s status. He said Fiske will need minor offseason surgery on his knee but it won’t affect his availability for the start of the 2025 season. It doesn’t sound like the injury was too serious, which is great news for Fiske and the Rams.

After losing Tyler Higbee for most of 2024 due to a knee injury suffered in the playoffs last year, it would’ve hurt to be without Fiske for any amount of time in 2025.
Fiske just turned in a fantastic year in which he led all rookies with 8.5 sacks, which was also the most of anyone on the Rams this season. His performance earned him recognition as a Defensive Rookie of the Year finalist, an award that’s expected to go to Jared Verse.
