You might’ve had a good Father's Day, whether you have a father or are one. However, you’d be hard-pressed to match the holiday Rams coach Sean McVay had.
Los Angeles’s eighth-year coach will welcome his first child in the fall, his wife Veronika Khomyn announced on Instagram.
“Guess who’s becoming a dad this football season!” Khomyn wrote. “Baby boy McVay is coming this fall and we’re so excited to meet him and love on him. I can’t believe he’s been growing in my belly for five months already.”
Khomyn, a former model who works in real estate, attached five pictures of the couple and one of their dog wearing a bandana that read, “I thought I was the baby!”
According to a 2022 profile by ESPN’s Seth Wickersham, McVay and Khomyn met in Washington, when McVay was working for the Commanders and Khomyn studying at George Mason University.
McVay won Super Bowl LVI with the Rams in 2021 and the NFC title in 2018, and is 60–38 through his first six seasons as a head coach.
