Former Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Larrell Murchison has found a new home with the Los Angeles Rams.
On Monday, the Rams claimed Murchison off waivers from the Titans after the team parted ways with the 2020 fifth-round pick on Saturday.
Murchison appeared in 26 games (five starts) for the Titans over three seasons but was never able to ascend to starter status and instead was relegated to the bottom of the depth chart.
He failed to make the roster out of training camp this season, but was brought back on the practice squad and eventually promoted after his elevations were exhausted. In fact, the Titans signed him to a deal through 2023.
The NC State product could find playing time right away with the Rams, as they are dealing with multiple injuries upfront, including to players like Aaron Donald, Marquise Copeland and A’Shawn Robinson.
Murchison wasn’t the only former Titan to land in a new spot on Monday, as punter Brett Kern is signing with the Philadelphia Eagles, per multiple reports.
The Titans have been very busy over the past week. The parting of ways with Murchison was just one of several moves the team has made since firing general manager Jon Robinson.
