Teams are allowed to elevate up to two players from the practice squad each week but the Los Angeles Rams aren’t maxing out that number for tonight’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The team announced that outside linebacker Keir Thomas has been promoted from the practice squad to the game day roster, the only player they’re elevating for this matchup.
It’s the second week in a row that Thomas has been brought up but with it being a temporary elevation, he’ll revert back to the practice squad on Tuesday if the Rams win.
Thomas played his first game of the season last week against the Seahawks and recorded three tackles, one tackle for a loss and a quarterback hit. He’s played 17 games in his career, with last week being his first career start.
