'Ramayana': Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Yash to do an important test shoot for the Nitesh Tiwari directorial

Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films in Bollywood. The film reportedly stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Yash in lead roles.

According to a latest report, the actors are all set to do an important test shoot for the film. The pre-production work on 'Ramayana' has begun in full swing. From multiple looks tests, to set designs, VFX, narrative - all of it is being discussed at the same time with multiple stakeholders. As an immediate step, the makers are putting up a small set in Filmcity, the construction of which has already begun.

The report also added that the makers are doing this to make sure that they get the look and feel of the set right. The makers are also being extremely cautious, and don’t want to leave any stone unturned in portraying the story in its most authentic way, the report in Pinkvilla stated.

The test shoot is reportedly scheduled for the end of July, tentatively July 28. However, it is yet unclear about which actor will be a part of this exercise

Following the backlash that Om Raut's 'Adipurush' faced after its release, Nitesh was asked recently if he is worried about controversies. Replying to the same, the filmmaker said that he is confident his film will not offend the audience.

He is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, 'Bawaal' which stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film is set to release on July 21, 2023 on an OTT platform.
