Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday offered tribute to socialist leader and freedom fighter Ram Manohar Lohia at Lohia Park in Lucknow on his death anniversary.
Responding to a question after paying tribute to the socialist icon, Mr Yadav said: "They (BJP) want to change everything established by the Constitution. They want to do politics on discimination. They are the people who want countrymen to fight over the cast and religion."

"संविधान से बनी हर चीज को यह उलटना चाहते हैं। यह वह लोग है जो नफरत पर राजनीति करना चाहते हैं, जो भेदभाव पर राजनीति करना चाहते हैं। यह वह लोग हैं जो धर्म जातियों को लड़ा कर राजनीति करना चाहते हैं।"

Ram Manohar Lohia died in 1967 and has been an inspiration for a host of politicians.
