Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhuttl has given a damning verdict on Manchester United’s main weakness ahead of next weekend’s clash between the Red Devils and Leeds United.
Hassenhuttl took his Saints side to Old Trafford on Saturday and earned an impressive 1-1 draw, a game in which they could’ve just as easily won.
Man United have flattered to deceive in recent weeks, starting their last three matches on the front foot and taking early one goal leads.

They have failed to win each of those games, though, with Middlesbrough, Burnley and most recently Southampton mustering second half comebacks to earn a draw.
Under interim manager Ralf Rangnick, the Red Devils have looked to become more of a front-foot, pressing side, but they have only been able to show that in patches.
Speaking after Southampton’s draw at Old Trafford on Saturday, Hassenhuttl claimed that Rangnick’s players lack the desire to do the defensive side of the game for 90 minutes.
Via the Manchester Evening News, he said: “It is not a big secret that when they lose the ball that the reverse gears are not the best from everybody.
“Then you have the chance to create something, and we did.
“The pressing for them was good in the beginning but they aren’t used to doing it for more than 30 or 40 minutes, we came into the game after that."
Hassenhuttl could’ve handed Leeds the knowledge of how they could get some joy against Man United in next Sunday’s clash.
It is no secret that Leeds usually look to win the ball back in areas where they can transition quickly and counter-attack at pace.
If the Whites are able to execute that, then there could be some joy to be had as they look to exact revenge on their heavy 5-1 defeat on the first day of the season.
