Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has highlighted the progress Liverpool have made under Jurgen Klopp in a hidden message to the Glazers.
Since Klopp's appointment in October 2015, the Reds have won the Premier League, Champions League, EFL Cup, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup. They'd won just one EFL Cup during the nine years prior to the German's arrival on Merseyside.
Liverpool have invested well since Klopp became their manager, signing the likes of Mohamed Salah, Fabinho, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Thiago for relatively low amounts. And their big-money transfers have all paid off, such as Virgil van Dijk and Alisson.
United, meanwhile, have failed to get the best out of their countless big-money signings. Harry Maguire, Fred, Nemanja Matic, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and others have been criticised this season.
The Reds Devils' scattergun approach has failed to bring them success, as they haven't won a major trophy since May 2017. During the nine seasons since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement in May 2013, they've won only the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League.
"He is one of the best, if not the best coach," said Rangnick on Klopp. "Not only now, but in the last couple of years. It is no coincidence what has happened. They brought in the right players and got rid of the right players. That is why they are where they are."

United are hoping to pull off one of the shocks of the season when they face Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening. They were hammered 5-0 by Klopp's side at Old Trafford in October and, in truth, the scoreline could've been much bigger.
The Reds are trying to become the first English side in history to win the quadruple. They've already lifted the EFL Cup, reached the last four of the Champions League and booked at their spot at next month's FA Cup final - taking on Chelsea at Wembley. In the Premier League, they're currently one point behind leaders Manchester City.
United, meanwhile, are languishing in fifth - three points behind Tottenham in fourth. They defeated Norwich 3-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday thanks to a hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo. Arsenal and West Ham are also in the hunt for Champions League football.
"Although we might be the underdogs for most people, we still know that if we raise our level, if we play a top performance, then we have a chance to get three points," said Rangnick when asked about the game. "This will be our ambition and goal for tomorrow."
He added: "As I said after the game [Norwich], we need to be more compact, we need to find the right balance of what we do in possession of the ball and what we need to do in order to defend our own goal. For sure, we need to be more compact, more aggressive, more on the front foot but still make sure we have all the players behind the ball.
"This is what we need to show tomorrow against a team that is probably one of the best - if not the best - in creating moments which they can be dangerous from in and around the box. We need to be at our very best defensively but still have a formation and approach to the game that we can be dangerous ourselves."
