Ralf Rangnick makes Arsenal claim as Man Utd told how they can finish in top four

Ralf Rangnick has admitted that Manchester United have to win all of their remaining Premier League games to stand a chance of finishing in the top four at the end of the season.

United's form has been inconsistent lately, whereas their rivals Arsenal have been in tremendous shape. The Red Devils did manage to defeat top four competitors Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 on Saturday evening thanks to a hat-trick from none other than Cristiano Ronaldo, but Arsenal's 2-0 win over Leicester City ensured that Mikel Arteta's men returned to fourth place in the table.

The Gunners, who are currently one point better off than United, also have three games in hand on Rangnick's side and therefore, are well positioned to finish in the top four for the first time since the 2015/16 season.

However, Rangnick has admitted that qualifying for the Champions League is a priority for his team ahead of their Round of 16 second leg tie with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night, but he's insisted that the task will not be easy.

"It doesn’t matter how we qualify for the Champions League next season, it is about what is realistic," he said, as cited by BBC Sport. "Tomorrow [March 15] is the Champions League and we'll try everything we possibly can to win the game tomorrow to be in the last eight. Even if we did that there are still a number of good teams in the competition.

"Right now, Arsenal is in good shape so it is clear we need to win all games in the Premier League. Tomorrow is the Champions League. We cannot wait for the kick-off tomorrow. We are highly motivated."

Arsenal host title challengers Liverpool on Wednesday. Even though they aren't expecting to come away with a result, if they do manage to get something from the game, it'll be a huge boost going into the business end of the season.
