Former Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has previously claimed that Marcel Sabitzer's leadership qualities are 'remarkable' as the Bayern Munich man prepares for life at Old Trafford.
United completed a deadline day deal with the Bundesliga giants to bring Sabitzer to the Premier League on loan for the rest of the season. Erik ten Hag needed to act fast on Tuesday to provide much needed cover to his midfield.
The Reds confirmed on Tuesday that Christian Eriksen will be out of action until late April at the earliest after suffering a ankle injury against Reading in the Carabao Cup. Since that announcement, United worked hard to get Sabitzer through the door before the window shut.

Fortunately, Sabitzer's loan was confirmed before the deadline and the 28-year-old will be available to make his debut against Crystal Palace on Saturday in the Premier League. One man who knows Sabitzer well is Rangnick having spent time with him at RB Leipzig and with the Austrian national team.
Speaking about the central midfielder in 2020 to Kicker, Rangnick issued a glowing reference for United's new man. "His development couldn't have been any better," he said.
"He has never liked to lose, which I absolutely believe is a positive thing. But he used to get a little too fired up.
"He has clearly changed for the better and has become a leader. The way he has developed his personality is remarkable.
"I've only rarely experienced something similar." United currently have a shortage of central midfielders with Donny van de Beek out for the remainder of the season and Scott McTominay missing too.
