Ralf Rangnick confirmed as worst Manchester United manager with unwanted Premier League record

Ralf Rangnick is statistically the worst Manchester United manager to have coached in the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in October and Rangnick was appointed on an interim basis until the end of the season. Rangnick was short of recent coaching experience ahead of accepting the job, but it was hoped he could improve the club's fortunes.

However, United have been eliminated from the FA Cup and Champions League under Rangnick and they look set to finish outside of the top four in the Premier League. The experiment has been a disaster and his appointment hasn't worked.

United lost 1-0 to Everton on Saturday afternoon and that shocking defeat gave Rangnick an unwanted record.

That's because Rangnick now officially has the lowest win rate of any United manager in the Premier League.

United have won just 47% of their Premier League games under Rangnick (8/17).

Rangnick will soon leave his position and Erik ten Hag is expected to take over at Old Trafford.
