Ralf Rangnick breaks silence on Manchester United captain Harry Maguire
Ralf Rangnick has hit out at recent criticism of Harry Maguire, claiming he is a 'very valuable player' for Manchester United as he prepares to resume his captaincy at the club. The Reds skipper was booed by sections of the England fans when his name was announced before their friendly victory over the Ivory Coast at Wembley on Tuesday.
Manager Gareth Southgate vehemently ridiculed the acts of a fraction of the Three Lions supporters following his role in England's pursuit of the European Championships as well as his ever-present role with the national team. Although, he has had a disappointing season with United he was sarcastically cheered off by some when substituted against Atletico Madrid two weeks ago.

However, the United interim boss does not believe Maguire will receive a similar reception at Old Trafford from United fans. Both the German and Magure are gearing up for the last stretch of the campaign as they look to secure Champions League football for at least another season.

Manchester United injury news ahead of Leicester battle
Edinson Cavani is Manchester United's only injury concern ahead of their match with Leicester in the Premier League this weekend. The Uruguayan forward picked up an injury while away on international duty and could be out for as long as five weeks.
United return to action against Leicester on Saturday night for the first time since the Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid on March 15. As they restart their league campaign, there is just one notable absentee.
The Uruguayan limped off during their World Cup qualifier earlier in the week and will see the veteran finisher's barren season with injury, continue. Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, Rangnick confirmed that Cavani would miss the Leicester match and later on he elaborated on the setback in a separate interview.
