A new update has been released for Tower of God: New Worldand lets players to add Rak as a new teammate. Of course, there's the usual limited-time events for players to enjoy.
SSR+ [Awakened] Rak (Red element, Tank, Fisherman) is a giant crocodile whose scaly skin is covered in a layer of rocks. [Awakened] Rak has a desire for power along with an instinct to destroy. He is known for his skills as a Tank which allow him to ignore damage through his Stone Shield. He can also help teammates by caging up enemies using Stone Prison.
New Content for Main Story
As part of the new update, players can now experience Act 8-1 [Prey: The Untrustworthy Room]. This is a new content added to the main story and features the fierce duel between Viole and Mule Love. In addition, it also uncovers the stories of the Regulars making their move towards their respective goals.
Players able to complete this latest main story get to earn Normal Summon Tickets (x10).
Limited-Time Events
These limited-time events are now available for players until May 8:
- Stage Race Event
- Compete with other players and find out who can quickly clear the given stage.
- Players can earn Race Points and exchange them for Suspendiums, Growth Resources and more.
- [Awakened] Rak Trial Event
- Try out the newly added teammate [Awakened] Rak for three days and earn valuable rewards.
- Rewards include the likes of Normal Summon Tickets and Master Keys (x20), to name a few.
- Khun Khun Arcade Mini-game 'Fish Slapping Dance' Event
- Players can enter special mini-game events and attempt to clear all missions for a chance to obtain Normal Summon Tickets, Growth Resource Selection Chest and more.
There's also a new Welcome Growth Mission Event available. With this, new players to the game can enjoy special missions for seven days and in return get different rewards by clearing them all. Several teammates like SSR+ Evan, Karaka, Viole and SSR Bam, Khun Aguero Agnes, and Normal Summon Tickets are offered as rewards.
In Tower of God: New World, players get to control fan-favorite characters to ascend the Tower. The game is now available on Google Play and the App Store. A PC version is also available to download from Google Play Games Beta.
