Rail passengers are being warned to check their train times as a new timetable comes into effect this weekend.
Rail company, Northern, is altering its timetable with the changes starting on Sunday (May 21). The majority of services while remain as they were, the operator has said, but it is urging people that make regular trips on the same trains to check the new timetable.
Passengers can use the 'check my timetable' feature on the Northern website to see details specific to their chosen station.

Northern is the second largest train operator in the UK, with 2,500 services a day to more than 500 stations across the north of England. Some customers will notice a 'slight re-timing of service' and a 'very small number of services that have been removed from the timetable' - which reflects customer demand, according to Northern.
The changes coming on Sunday are part of the national timetable change process that takes place twice a year for all train operators in England.
Tricia Williams, chief operating officer at Northern, said: “The new timetable coming into effect on Sunday is part of a national timetable change process that takes place twice a year for all train operators in England. The train network is a complex system of inter-dependent parts and it is vital that changes are co-ordinated in this way.
“For the vast majority of our customers there is no change, but some will notice a slight re-timing of service – as such, I would advise all customers to use the Check My Timetable feature on our website for any travel plans after 21 May.
“There are a very small number of services that have been removed from the timetable which reflects customer demand and we have already communicated that information to those communities.”
Northern announced details of the timetable change last month. For more information about the timetable change, visit: www.northernrailway.co.uk/timetablechange.
