Raiders to interview former Steelers OC Mike Sullivan for same role

The list of candidates for the offensive coordinator job of the Las Vegas Raiders is coming in fast and furious. Over the last few days, Zac Robinson, Alex Van Pelt, and Luke Getsy have all been named as coaches that the Raiders will interview for their offensive coordinator gig.

On Wednesday, there was another name added to the list. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, the Raiders will interview former Steelers QB coach and offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan for the same role.

Sullivan split play-calling duties once Matt Canada was fired in Pittsburgh, and the offense really took off despite multiple changes at the quarterback position. It’s possible that the Raiders are looking at Sullivan as a potential QB coach considering that the Steelers are making changes to their offensive coaching staff, as well.

Sullivan has been a QB coach in the NFL since 2010 working with the likes of Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, and Case Keenum. He also has experience as a WR coach and a defensive assistant under Jack Del Rio.

We will keep you updated if any more information becomes available about Mike Sullivan and the offensive coordinator job for the Raiders.
