A Kansas City Chiefs free agent receiver could be turning to the dark side.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Demarcus Robinson is set to travel to Las Vegas to take a free-agent visit with Kansas City’s most bitter rival. Robinson is a free agent again in 2022 after returning to the Chiefs on a one-year deal in each of the past two years.
Robinson, 27, is a former fourth-round pick out of the University of Florida in the 2016 NFL draft. He spent the 2016 season getting acclimated to the NFL game and came up with Patrick Mahomes working on the scout team in 2017.

Robinson has been one of the more consistent receivers in Kansas City since 2018 with at least 20 receptions, 250 receiving yards and three touchdowns in each season through 2021. Unfortunately, he’s been nothing more than a complementary piece in this offense.
With the addition of JuJu Smith-Schuster, bringing Robinson back to the Chiefs became increasingly less likely. It’s no surprise that the Raiders are the team bringing him in for a visit. Robinson had his career-best performance against them back in 2019, posting a six-catch, 172-yard and two-touchdown game in Week 2.
