The Las Vegas Raiders are still waiting on the return of All-Pro RB Josh Jacobs as he has yet to sign the franchise tag. That is expected as Jacobs has missed all of training camp to date. The belief is that he will be ready for Week 1 and could show up at any minute.
One option that the Raiders still have is the option to trade Jacobs to another team. With another NFL rushing champion (Jonathan Taylor) demanding a trade this week, that possibility needs to be discussed.
However, the Raiders have shown no interest in trading Jacobs, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The Raiders are not allowing him to explore a trade as they want Jacobs to play for them this season.
While the #Colts let Jonathan Taylor seek a trade, league sources say the #Raiders have shown no interest in trading their star RB Josh Jacobs.

Jacobs has always been a team-first player and the Raiders don’t expect that he’ll actually miss games in the regular season. That’s why there isn’t any interest to trade him and the belief is that he will return a few days ahead of Week 1.
Jacobs is entering his fifth year in the NFL after leading the league in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage during the 2022 season. He’ll play the entire 2023 season at the age of 25 and has firmly established himself as one of the best backs in the NFL.
