The Las Vegas Raiders were hoping to retain Josh Jacobs. But once free agency starts, it’s hard to bring back players when there are so many teams looking to add talent to their roster.
On Monday, it was announced that Jacobs will be leaving the Raiders in favor of the Green Bay Packers. That news was first reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
The #Packers are expected to sign Josh Jacobs, source tell me and @TomPelissero.

The Raiders selected Jacobs with the No. 24 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and he’s turned into one of the best running backs in the league. During his five year career with the Raiders, he racked up just under 7,000 yards and scored 46 touchdowns.
He led the NFL in rushing yards (1,653) and total yards (2,053) during the 2022 season. He just turned 26 years old and will now be playing football at Lambeau Field.
